What is PACT?
PACT stands for Professional Association for Computer Training. We are located in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Founded in 1971 we provide information, options, and answers on issues and technologies facing Training and Support Professionals in today's ever-changing organizations. PACT is one of the oldest professional computer training associations in the United States. TOP


Where does this group meet?
We meet at The Metropolitan, located at: 5418 Wayzata Blvd. Minneapolis, MN 55416 (Off of 394 west of Hwy 100. Take the Xenia/Park Place exit). Get directions. TOP


When does this group meet?
We meet every second Friday of every month. These meetings are open to the public. Guests are welcome and no pre-registration is necessary to attend a PACT meeting. Pay on a month-to-month basis or see more about membership! TOP

 


 
Why does this group meet?
As Computer Training and Support Professionals, we constantly focus our attention on helping others effectively use technology to meet their business goals and objectives. PACT is your opportunity to take 3 hours a month and focus on your professional growth and development.
At monthly meetings you will hear from your peers and nationally renown training and support experts. Speakers' topics concern issues that are faced by all of us in our efforts to meet the challenges of technology training in the new millennium. TOP

How is it governed?
As a non-profit organization we have a Board of Directors, voted into office by membership each year. We also have committees and special interest groups (SIGs) that help run events and special engagements throughout the year. Members receive special benefits whether they are vendors or practitioners. TOP

Who makes up its membership?
PACT is comprised of over 300 members who represent corporations - large and small, government agencies, and independents of all training and support-related disciplines. TOP


Who can be a Host or Vendor of the Month?
Active members or their respective company can be a host or vendor of the month. Details and information can be obtained by contacting the Host Vendor Coordinator. TOP

What is the PACT Training Specials List?
A monthly Training Specials list is emailed to PACT Members, highlighting classes available to PACT members at a 10% discount. Vendor or practitioner members may list up to five classes per month to solicit attendees. Contact the Training Specials Coordinator for further details. TOP
